NRW meets... International Dance #3: Facilitating International Exchange - Förderprogramme für internationalen Austausch und Sichtbarkeit

  • 10 June
    13:00 – 13:50
  • Online
  • Duration: 50min

International guest performances, co-productions, mobility support. Which programmes are specifically designed to boost international visibility and distribution, and how can they be utilised in practice? With the third edition of NRW meets... International Dance, the nrw landesbuero tanz invites the dance community in North Rhine-Westphalia to engage in dialogue with funding bodies.

The focus is on the question: How do funding programmes support international distribution in contemporary dance – and which instruments promote sustainable visibility and collaboration for dance professionals?

This edition brings together perspectives from various funding levels: Gertrud Dörr (NPN/National Performance Network) will speak about funding programmes for international guest performances. Susanne Traub and Thomas Stumpp (Goethe-Institut) will present programmes for supporting emerging talent and the International Co-Production Fund.

There will then be time for questions and discussion: What gaps exist in the international funding landscape, what deadlines and requirements apply, and how can funding programmes be strategically combined?

The number of participants is limited (50 participants). The event is primarily aimed at dance professionals from North Rhine-Westphalia. Other German or international dance professionals are also welcome, provided there are still places available.

This event will be held in German.
