internationales tanzmeeting is a project of the nrw landesbuero tanz, funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the state capital Düsseldorf. The nrw landesbuero tanz is an information centre, networking hub and point of contact for the professional dance scene in North Rhine-Westphalia. It initiates projects, collaborations and discussions in the field of professional contemporary dance and supports the work of dance professionals in North Rhine-Westphalia by offering networking and training opportunities and providing collegial advice to the dance scene. Its projects give dance public visibility and open up diversity-related approaches to dance. Among other things, it is the organiser and sponsor of DYNAMO – Junge Tanzplattform NRW (Young Dance Platform NRW) and the tanz nrw festival. In addition, the nrw landesbuero tanz organised the internationale tanzmesse nrw from 1994 to 2024.
